The harvest was very different from a vine to another ...
Different in quantity, some vines were frozen at the end of April ...
Different in quality, with botrytis (noble rot) in some vines, more exposed than others to the rains of August ...
The grass allowed us nevertheless to limit it.
We also observed, at the end of August, that some vines ripened quickly ... so we decided to harvest earlier, but that is not enough, some plots are over-mature ...
It was therefore necessary to sort ...
After sorting, the quality is very correct, the quantity quite small.
What remains should give good Champagnes ; in any case, we will do everything to do very good Champagnes !
